WHAT IS ADVANCE MUSCLE RELEASE?

Advance Muscle Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the connective tissue to eliminate pain and restore range of motion and increase blood flow in specific regions of the body. This essential “time element” has to do with pressure applied slowly will that will allow the fascia to elongate.

Trauma, inflammatory responses, and/or surgical procedures create restrictions in the connective tissue that can produce tensile pressures that will make you feel miserable, uncomfortable and hurting.

The use of Advance Muscle Release allows us to look at each client as a unique individual. Our one-on-one therapy sessions are hands-on treatments during which our specialists use a multitude of Advance Muscle Release techniques, movement therapy and active stretching exercises. We promote independence through education in proper body mechanics and movement, self-treatment instruction, enhancement of strength, improved flexibility, and postural and movement awareness.  APPLY HERE!

HANDS-ON TREATMENT:

Advance Muscle Release Treatment session is performed directly on skin.  This enables the specialist to accurately detect restrictions and apply the appropriate amount of sustained pressure to facilitate release of the fascia. Not all sessions are alike, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO FULLY DISROBE... Most sessions are in workout attire (just make sure you are comfortable in the attire of your choice) we want you to feel as comfortable as possible.  So you can experience the RESULTS you DESIRE!!!  APPLY HERE!

ADVANCE MUSCLE RELEASE TECHNIQUE:

By applying direct pressure to the muscles and the sticky connective tissue linings of the muscle bodies, Advance Muscle Release can cause a tremendous increase in blood flow to and through specific areas.  By working the connective tissue the specialist can break the adhesions that prevent the muscle from achieving full range of motion and flexibility.

The pressure applied may or may not hurt, it really depends on your level of discomfort and pain, nevertheless it is able to move muscle and connective tissue in ways that most have never experienced, thereby causing a dramatic shift in the tissue. Advance Muscle Release triggers the release of built up toxins, as well as a huge increase in blood flow, which provides oxygen that has been deprived due to lack of circulation.  APPLY HERE!

TERMINOLOGY YOU MAY OFTEN HEAR:

Ischemia: the lack of blood flow to soft tissues that causes hypersensitivity to touch.

Trigger points: highly irritated points in muscles that refer pain to other parts of the body.

Nerve entrapment/compression: pressure on a nerve by soft tissue, cartilage or bone.

Postural distortions: imbalance of the muscular system resulting from the movement of the body off the longitudinal and horizontal planes. Longtime poor postural habits are the most common cause of pain from this element.

Biomechanical dysfunction: imbalance of the musculoskeletal system resulting in faulty movement patterns (i.e., poor lifting habits, computer keyboarding, bad mechanics in a golf swing or tennis stroke).
